Job details:
- This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of both our donation center and retail store.
- The Supervisor will lead and work alongside a dedicated team of volunteers, providing guidance and hands-on support in receiving, processing, pricing, merchandising, and selling donated items.
- This is a highly interactive, fast-paced position that requires strong organizational skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for customers, donors, and volunteers alike.
- Flexibility in scheduling—including availability on Saturdays—is essential to meet the operational needs of the boutique.
Qualifications – Required:
- H.S. Diploma.
- Retail Supervisory Experience (Preferred).
- Experience working with an Older Population (Preferred).
- Background check required.
Skills & Competencies:
- Friendly, respectful demeanor.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with volunteers and team members.
- Proven retail or customer service experience.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Workplace is a combined office/retail store/warehouse environment.
- Must be willing to walk/stand up to 8 hours a day.
- Physically able to lift or move items up to 30 lbs. frequently during shift.
