Coffee has been in the Bizzarri family since the 1940s. A small roastery in Perugia, Italy grew into something that now spans Seattle, Portland, Chicago, and Miami Beach. Most coffee jobs are just... jobs. This one's a little different. Our retail cafes are the face of Caffe Umbria, and the barista role sits right at the center of that. You're carrying on a tradition, not just pulling shots.
The Details:
- Location: 959 West Avenue, Suite 1, Miami Beach, FL 33139
- Pay: $14.00/hour + tips (tips average ~$2/hour)
- Hours: 15-20 hours per week, weekends required (flexible on shift times)
What You'll Do:
- Craft and serve espresso drinks and food items consistently to Caff Umbria's recipe standards
- Deliver genuine, knowledgeable hospitality to every customer who walks in
- Taste drip coffee and espresso regularly to make sure it's hitting our standards
- Share your enthusiasm for coffee, tea, and what makes each unique
- Help with daily cafe operations, setup, cleanup, and stock
- Participate in local events and ongoing coffee education

Who We're Looking For:
- Someone with a genuine sense of ownership over the customer experience
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment without losing the warmth
- Previous experience in coffee, hospitality, or customer service is a plus
- A real curiosity about coffee and a hunger to keep learning
- Food handler's card required (if you don't have one, we'll help you get one!); background check required
