Part-Time: Administrative Assistant
Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Schedule flexibility available; final schedule to be determined between the hiring manager and selected candidate

Overview

The Part-Time Administrative Assistant will support the HR team in delivering programs and services that positively impact employee engagement and daily operations. This role is responsible for onboarding and offboarding activities, HRIS administration, payroll and benefits support, personnel file maintenance, reporting, and assisting employees with HR-related questions. The position also provides administrative support to the HR Director and HR Business Partners as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Maintain and update HRIS systems and personnel records.
  • Assist with payroll administration and benefits coordination.
  • Prepare reports and organize HR-related data and documentation.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Director and HR Business Partners.
  • Perform additional administrative and HR-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in an administrative or HR-related role.
  • Prior experience processing payroll and working with HRIS systems.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee information.
  • Basic understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage changing priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience organizing and manipulating data.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
