    Description

    Title:                 Administrative Assistant 
    Reports to:     Principal
     
    Job Goal: The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the school's operations. This position serves as a welcoming first point of contact for families and visitors, ensuring smooth office operations. This role blends hospitality, organization, and accuracy. The assistant greets school parents, students, and visitors. The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing people service with office duties related to children's needs. The principal duty of all employees is to support the school's mission by creating an environment in which parents feel welcome, cared for, and supported. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to the school's mission.

    Office & Secretary Duties

    Basic Qualifications:
    Must have a strong commitment to Catholic education and model behavior in accordance with St. Thecla's mission and vision.
    Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication
    Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
    Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of a school
    Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
    Experience with databases or student information systems preferred, such as FACTS, etc.
    Discreet, trustworthy, and confidential with sensitive information
     
    Work Schedule: Part-time hourly position. Monday through Friday during the school day
