Job Description:
Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process
Develop a positive working relationship with the teacher and students
Model professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and community
Model spiritual maturity in leading students towards Christ and then spiritual growth
Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment
Assist in assessing changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement
Accompany class to specials and assist special teacher as needed
Help students as directed by the teacher or as you see a need
Help students at arrival and dismissal to ensure they are following the procedures
Help teacher with prep work during down time
Assume some of lead teacher’s main responsibilities according to need
Work with individual or small groups of students as directed by the teacher
Help students with emotional regulation as needed
Requirements:
High School diploma
Preferred
Previous experience working with children
Hours
Part-time 2-3 days per week 8am-3pm

This position has an hourly range of $17.00 - $27.00. An employee’s pay within the hourly range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
