Position Purpose
The Parks Worker performs a variety of manual labor and maintenance duties to support the operation, appearance, and safety of county parks, trails, and recreational facilities. This role helps ensure park areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming to the public. The Seasonal Parks Worker assists with maintaining the grounds, facilities, and equipment throughout the Outagamie County Parks System.
Part Time Seasonal position and no benefits available for this role.

Education/Certifications/Experience Requirements
Required or Preferred Skills
Grounds maintenance (mowing, trimming, landscaping, and general upkeep)
Operation of hand tools, power tools, and light equipment
Basic maintenance and repair skills
Knowledge of safety procedures and proper equipment use
Physical stamina for lifting, walking, and manual labor
Attention to detail and pride in maintaining public spaces
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Customer service and public interaction skills
Dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
Work Environment:
Outdoor county park setting with exposure to varying weather conditions
Physical work requiring walking, standing, bending, and lifting
Work may occur on uneven terrain and natural surfaces
Interaction with park visitors and staff throughout the day
Noise exposure from equipment, vehicles, and public activity
Schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
