St. Andrew's Parks and Playground, is searching for a Parks Maintenance Tech - Grounds. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about empowering others and is excited to be part of a team that has enriched lives through parks, recreation, and wellness for over 80 years!

At St. Andrew's Parks and Playground, we pride ourselves on our parks and our award winning athletic fields, largely due to our outstanding Parks Maintenance team.

This role is well-suited for individuals seeking hands-on, outdoor work in a team environment. We encourage applications from veterans and individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

This position requires regular physical activity, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Essential Duties The following duties are representative but not all-inclusive:

• Maintain athletic fields and park grounds
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment
• Perform routine building and equipment maintenance and repairs
• Assist with event setup and breakdown

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm.
• May occasionally be requested to work evenings or weekends for special events.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of grounds maintenance experience desired
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record required to drive agency vehicles and operate agency equipment

Salary/Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour to start with annual merit increases available
