The VISTA member will support implementation of a comprehensive asset management system by collecting, organizing, and inputting data on parks, facilities, and equipment. They will help develop asset inventories, condition assessments, and maintenance tracking processes that improve operational efficiency and long-term planning. The member will also assist with accreditation readiness by researching CAPRA standards, conducting a gap analysis, and supporting development of policies and procedures that align with national best practices. These efforts will strengthen departmental operations and expand access to safe, well-maintained parks for underserved communities.
