Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree. Two years of progressively responsible supervisory, managerial and/or administrative experience to include maintenance, operations and/or recreation programming within a park and recreation system or related field are required. Must possess a valid Florida Driver s License. Must successfully complete the Department of Children and Families Childcare Training within the first nine (9) months of the probationary period. Must be able to work weekdays, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed. Additional progressively responsible supervisory, managerial and/or administrative experience to include maintenance, operations and/or recreation programming within a park and recreation system or related field may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Applicants will be subject to a Level 2 Background clearance prior to employment start date.

This position oversees the daily operations of Live Like Bella Park and is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of park services, programming and park facility related stewardship. Key responsibilities include supervising and leading staff, promoting existing and future recreational programming opportunities, preparing monthly reports on park operations and utilization, and analyzing & coordinating maintenance activities for park facilities and grounds.
The incumbent serves as a liaison to neighborhood organizations and community stakeholders, supporting community engagement initiatives and fostering positive relationships with park users. The position is expected to manage multiple priorities, coordinate operational activities, and support a high-quality park experience. The work schedule may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events to support operational and programming needs.
