Our Park Maintenance Division is looking for three (3) full-time seasonal workers to join our team!
Our season will run from approximately April 1st through September 30th, each year.

A Park Maintenance workers tasks vary greatly from day to day. Some days you may work on projects as part of a team and other days you may be given a list of tasks to complete independently.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for people who share our enthusiasm for public service by providing safe, clean and fun public spaces for recreation. Our most successful park maintenance workers have a unique combination of skills and traits including good customer service, an eye for detail and an ability to follow direction and work independently. The night shift position specifically requires a person who can think independently and make good decisions with little guidance.
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK ON OUR TEAM
Under the direction of a Park Maintenance Crew Leader, the Night Shift Park Maintenance Worker primarily works independently at night cleaning and maintaining restrooms and parks.
WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
This position works from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM five (5) days a week. We have staff on seven (7) days a week so your weekend may not fall on Saturday and Sunday. The position may start at the Dimond Park shop in the valley or the Douglas shop at Savikko park.
Under the immediate supervision of a Crew Leader, Park Maintenance Workers, perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work in the cleaning, upkeep and maintenance of CBJ parks, playgrounds, sports fields, courts and recreational areas.

Other: Not less than 18 years of age and must have a valid Driver's License at time of appointment and for continued employment.
Employees who meet the established criteria will receive a $1,000 end-of-season bonus.
The bonus will be paid, less mandatory deductions, at the successful completion of your seasonal work assignment.
