Join a team that is helping transform schools into welcoming, family-centered Community Schools!

As part of a regional network of Community Schools throughout Rancho Cordova, our schools are continuing their work to become trauma-informed, equity-focused, and data-informed learning communities. This full-time Parent Coordinator position plays an important role in strengthening partnerships between schools, families, and the community, as well as assisting with some clerical support for the program.

When schools build strong relationships with families, communicate effectively, and provide meaningful support and resources, families are more likely to be engaged, empowered, and strong advocates for their children. These partnerships build confidence, strengthen school connectedness, and support students on their path toward academic success and on-time graduation. As a Parent Coordinator, you will play a key role in making these outcomes possible.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, connecting with diverse families, organizing meaningful events, and helping families access resources that support student success. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to educational equity. Bilingual candidates and individuals with experience working in diverse communities are encouraged to apply.

Working alongside the Community Schools Coordinator and Community Schools team, this position will help plan and support family engagement opportunities such as Sports Physical Clinics, Kids Day in the Park, family holiday events like Turkey Drop and Winter Party, parent workshops, and other community events. This position includes some evening and weekend hours.

If you enjoy bringing people together, creating welcoming spaces for families, and making a positive impact in the community, we encourage you to apply.
