Job Summary
Job Purpose: Under the direction of the Executive Director and in collaboration with the Principal, the Parent and Community Engagement Manger develops, coordinates, and leads EJE Dual Language Academy s Community School initiatives, family engagement programs, and community partnerships. This position serves as the primary liaison between the school, families, community organizations, and service providers to ensure students and families have equitable access to academic, social-emotional, health, and enrichment resources. The Manager leads implementation of Community School grant initiatives while developing meaningful partnerships that strengthen student achievement, attendance, wellness, and college and career readiness. The position oversees family engagement programming, coordinates community resources, manages strategic partnerships, analyzes program effectiveness, and supports schoolwide initiatives that remove barriers to learning and improve student outcomes. Responsibilities Community School Leadership Lead implementation of the Community School grant and strategic plan. Conduct needs assessments and develop annual action plans. Coordinate wraparound services for students and families. Manage grant-funded initiatives and budgets. Collect, analyze, and report program outcome data. Develop continuous improvement plans. Family Engagement Serve as the primary liaison between school and families. Develop parent education programs and workshops. Coordinate family engagement events. Increase parent participation and volunteerism. Support effective home-school communication in English and Spanish. Assist families in accessing school and community services. Community Partnerships Develop relationships with nonprofit agencies, businesses, colleges, and government organizations. Coordinate health, mental health, social services, and enrichment programs.
