SLRHS is seeking a paraprofessional to support students in the Developmental Learning Center (DLC).
The DLC is a substantially separate program that serves students with intellectual disabilities. Primary roles and responsibilities will include:
• Providing academic support to students in the DLC class • Modifying work for students in general education classes • Monitoring students progress • Proctoring MCAS exams • Communicating with classroom teachers • Assisting with transitions
Other duties may be assigned by the Special Education Coordinator and/or building Principal.
Hours are 7:30am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday. Hourly rate is between $18.28 - $22.38, depending on experience.
As a full-time employee, this is a benefits-eligible position through Silver Lake, including paid sick and personal days.
