Job Description
- Manage client cases from inception through trial and closing
- Perform daily time entry billing and maintain accurate records
- Obtain, review, analyze, and summarize documents, including medical and financial records
- Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness files
- Manage court docket calendars and ensure deadlines are met
- Create status reports and provide updates to attorneys and clients
- Assist attorneys with legal research and case preparation
- Support attorneys in all aspects of defense litigation
Qualifications
- 3+ years' defense litigation paralegal experience
- Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program or Bachelor's degree
- Experience reviewing and obtaining medical records
- Proficiency with Lexis+ and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
- Effective communication with attorneys, staff, clients, and court personnel
