Paralegal | Litigation & Business Law

Hybrid opportunity with a respected Portland law firm offering exposure to a broad mix of litigation, business, commercial, employment, and transactional matters within a collaborative legal team.

LOCATION: Portland, OR

SALARY: $83k/yr. DOE

SCHEDULE: Full-time | 37.5 hours/wk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support attorneys in litigation and business law matters by drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, contracts, and related legal documents.

  • Manage case files, organize exhibits and supporting documentation, and maintain litigation calendars and deadlines.

  • Coordinate communication with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties regarding case status, scheduling, and document collection.

  • Assist with trial preparation, subpoenas, filings, deposition coordination, and other litigation support activities.
       

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

  • 2+ years of paralegal experience in Civil Litigation, Business Law, Employment Law, Commercial Law or similar, preferably within Oregon.

  • Strong knowledge of Oregon court procedures and e-filing processes.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and legal document management systems.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a professional legal environment.




PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer, as well as occasional standing, walking, and light lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds. Must have sufficient manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate standard office equipment, review documents, and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
