**This is an office-based position located in Sioux Falls, SD. Relocation or commute is required.**
Cutler Law Firm, LLP, is a full-service law firm established in 1997 and is currently located in downtown Sioux Falls. We are a mid-sized firm and take pride in building relationships based on trust, by treating clients with honesty and integrity.

Position Duties and Requirements:
We are seeking self-motivated individuals who will provide support for our medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death attorney(s).
Duties may include:
- Requesting, summarizing and organizing medical records and bills
- Assisting with filing various court documents
- Communicating with clients
- Drafting and editing documents
- Correspondence, file management and maintaining calendars and deadlines
- Primarily responsible for providing support for two (2) attorneys on a daily basis
This position requires:
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong proofreading and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, staff and clients
- Strong customer service focus and skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and perform well in stressful situations
- Ability to use good judgement in solving problems and resolving conflict
- Excellent attendance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to prioritize work and flexibility with schedule (occasional overtime may be required)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Two year Associate's degree and/or prior legal assistant experience required
Hourly Rate:
- The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, dependent upon experience.
Work Schedule:
- Office-based position
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm / 40 hours per week
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines
