The Paraeducator & Head Teacher/Non-Certified Teacher position involves supporting a positive learning environment for PreK-8 students.
- Assists in creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment and collaborates on curriculum planning.
- Prepares materials, observes student needs, and helps set individual goals.
- Ensures cultural and developmental needs are respected, and supports emotional, physical, and social growth.
- Participates in school activities, meetings, and parent engagement.
- Provides for students' physical needs, including diapering.
Qualifications: Associate Degree or 60 college credits or passing the ParaPro Assessment.
Physical demands: Ability to lift children, participate in activities requiring movement, and respond quickly to emergencies.
Terms: 10-month work year, Group I, with employment pending approval.
Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated per Board policies.
