Required Qualifications
- Experience with interior/exterior painting and basic surface prep.
- Able to skim walls and ceilings to a smooth finish.
- Comfortable painting cabinets, doors, trim, walls, and ceilings.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to keep a clean work area.
Optional
- Experience spraying cabinets or fine finishes.
- Basic drywall repair or plastering experience.
- Own tools, sprayer, or reliable transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prep and paint interior/exterior surfaces, including walls, trim, doors, and cabinets.
- Skim walls and ceilings to create a smooth, clean finish.
- Patch holes, cracks, dents, and other surface damage before painting.
- Sand, prime, and apply paint or finish neatly and evenly.
- Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean and organized.
Position Summary
We are seeking a versatile, detail-oriented Painter/Skimmer who combines true craftsmanship with broad general repair ability. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-precision finish and trim work while also being capable of handling the full range of day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move fluidly between painting cabinets, and wall-skimming in the afternoon.
