Position Summary:
The Paint Line Operator / Quality Inspector is responsible for loading and unloading parts on the paint line, performing quality inspections, and ensuring painted products meet cosmetic and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload parts from the paint line
- Inspect painted parts for quality, cosmetic appearance, and defects
- Perform first-piece and last-piece inspections
- Report questionable or defective parts to the supervisor immediately
- Paint and touch up parts following prescribed procedures
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety and production procedures
Job Requirements:
- Previous paint line or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to identify cosmetic defects and inconsistencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
