Painter/General Maintenance Technician (Boca Raton, FL)

Ourluxury country clubin Boca Raton isadding to its Facilities team. We are looking for a Painter / General Maintenance Technicianwho will be responsible forpainting, maintaining and repairing surfaces of the building, furniture, rooms and equipment throughout the facility as well asresponsibilitiesrelating to plumbing, electrical, carpentry,painting, andgeneral repair.

• PM Shift Available: 3:00pm to 11:30pm
• Must be available for weekends and holidays

Responsibilities to include:

• Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the facilities
• Prepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools including, but not limited to, measuring surfaces, applying spackle and plaster, mixing paint, matching paint and using brushes, rollers and spray-guns
• Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including, but not limited to, hanging vinyl paper, fabric and foil wall coverings
• Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing and lacquering
• Manage related supply inventory
• Additional duties as assigned
• Two (2) to three (3) years of documented work experience directly related to maintenance activities.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in hand and power tools.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
