Overview
We are seeking a Paint Equipment Specialist to manage and maintain industrial finishing and paint line operations. This role is responsible for ensuring products are coated to specification while operating, monitoring, and performing routine maintenance on advanced fluid delivery and automated coating systems.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs on industrial paint lines and fluid delivery systems to minimize downtime.
Pump Rebuilds & Diagnostics: Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble specialized industrial pumps (specifically Sames systems). Safely replace worn components such as seals, gaskets, and O-rings.
Fluid & 2K Systems Management: Oversee and maintain plural-component (2K) fluid management equipment and pump components, ensuring correct material ratios and consistent product delivery.
Controls & Automation: Monitor system operations and check alerts using digital touchscreen control panels (HMI). Work alongside and support automated/robotic coating applications to ensure proper mechanical function.
Qualifications
Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining industrial manufacturing or fluid delivery equipment.
Direct experience troubleshooting, cleaning, and rebuilding industrial fluid pumps and line components.
Familiarity with plural-component (2K) mixing systems and fluid controls is highly preferred.
Ability to use digital touchscreen interfaces (HMI) to monitor machinery and read system data.
Comfortable working around and assisting with automated or robotic production machinery.
Qualifications
- Experience working in an industrial painting, coating, or manufacturing finishing environment.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting, cleaning, and repairing industrial fluid pumps and line components.
- Comfortable using basic digital screen interfaces (HMI) to manage machinery and monitor system alerts.
- Familiarity with or exposure to automated/robotic production processes.
