Are you a seasoned Paint Engineer with a passion for quality and innovation? Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their team in Grant, Michigan. This role offers an opportunity to play a vital part in the production process, ensuring the smooth launch and ongoing performance of painted products. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates outside the area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform semi-skilled machine operations to assemble or fabricate products/sub-assemblies, adhering to team goals.
  • Conduct manual or machine operations requiring in-depth process knowledge and constant monitoring.
  • Ensure product and process quality through inspections and continuous improvement activities.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust machines while managing multiple process variables.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and handle moderately complex machine setups.
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards, material movement systems, and documentation.
  • Collaborate in the annual planning process by identifying improvements to meet plant objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+years of paint engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Experience with basic preventative maintenance and machine setup operations.
