    Pain Management Physician Opportunity

    Norton Pain Management Associates is recruiting a fellowship-trained pain management physician to join our comprehensive program at Norton Leatherman Spine-Brownsboro in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will join five physicians and three AdvancedPractice Providers who support four office locations.

    Job Responsibilities: The APP-Adult Acute provides healthcare to adult patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance and supportive care. The APP-Adult Acute works independently, as well as collaboratively, to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage and evaluate patient care. The APP-Adult Acute functions as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate. Required: Collaborative/Supervisory Agreement as required and in alignment with state and board regulatory statutes; Valid DEA number and KASPER registration if prescribing controlled substances; Maintains appropriate scope of practice within population.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Master Degree in Nursing
    • National Nurse Practitioner (NNP) AND Nurse Practitioner (NP) AND Registered Nurse (RN)

    Desired:

    • One year of clinical experience.
    • Doctorate Degree in Nursing
