What Youll Do
- Provide direct patient care in the PACU following physician orders and established protocols
- Monitor patient vitals, ventilators, and levels of consciousness, adjusting care plans as needed
- Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and recovery staff to ensure smooth patient transitions
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with hospital policies
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and ensure patient safety during recovery
- Maintain compliance with all hospital and departmental guidelines
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Ohio RN license
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year PACU or related perioperative experience
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred:
- Experience in Level 1 Trauma settings
- Telemetry, ventilator management skills
