Packer

Our client, a leading food production industry, is seeking a Packer to join their team. As a Packer, you will be part of the Packaging Department supporting the production line. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packer

Location: Chambersburg PA

Pay Range: $17.25 to $18.00 depending on shift

Shift: 1st shift, 2nd shift and 3rd shift

What's the Job?

• Package finished products into specified corrugate boxes according to company and customer standards
• Inspect and hand pack bags of chips into boxes in a fast-paced environment
• Assemble boxes, apply stickers, and pack cases while verifying package quality including seals, defects, and labels
• Monitor seasoning levels to ensure consistent application based on specifications
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area and equipment throughout the shift

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; training provided
• Ability to work in a high-paced, noisy, and sometimes wet environment
• Physical ability to stand continuously, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
