PRODUCTION OPERATOR - PACKAGING | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Sumter SC 29153 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $15.90/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
• • E Shift | 3-2-2-3 rotating schedule

PRODUCTION OPERATOR - PACKAGING | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Production Operator will operate production and packaging equipment, support daily manufacturing operations, perform quality checks, and help maintain safety and production standards throughout the facility. This is a great opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, assembly, packaging, warehouse, or machine operation experience who are looking for stable hours and long-term potential.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PRODUCTION OPERATOR - PACKAGING | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform equipment changeovers and basic operational adjustments
• Ensure products are packaged and labeled according to specifications
• Conduct routine quality inspections and document results accurately
• Monitor production output and report equipment issues to technical staff
• Maintain accurate production and downtime records
• Stamp and verify batch information on product packaging
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality system procedures
• Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks throughout the shift
• Support team operations and additional duties as assigned

PRODUCTION OPERATOR - PACKAGING | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or packaging experience
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic documentation and recordkeeping skills
• Experience working in production environments is a plus
