PACKAGING OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Mebane NC 27302 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $19/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Mon – Thurs, 7am - 5:30pm (Occasional overtime as needed)

PACKAGING OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Packaging Operator will perform routine packaging tasks, conduct quality inspections, and ensure all activities align with established safety and quality guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with manufacturing experience to work in a structured, team-oriented environment

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PACKAGING OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Packaging: Manually package kits and feed raw materials onto the production line.
• Quality Control: Test and inspect parts for in-process quality checks and recognize any deviations from specifications.
• Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork and document procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Inventory: Pull raw materials for orders and maintain an organized workspace.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and housekeeping protocols.
• Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning functions of the equipment and work area.

PACKAGING OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic proficiency with PCs and a Windows environment.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and read/evaluate charts and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Capable of performing repetitive motions consistently throughout the shift.
