There is currently an opportunity working for one of the world's fastest growing biotechnology companies, and they are looking for someone just like you to join their team. With this position as an Operator in the Packaging department, you would play a crucial role in ensuring the products are packaged efficiently and meet the highest quality standards. This position includes a variety of tasks, so no two days will be exactly the same.

Throughout your time with the company, you will participate in continuous improvement activities, which will help enhance operational efficiency. You will also need to adhere to all safety and GMP guidelines to ensure a safe and successful work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, operating, adjusting, cleaning, and sanitizing packaging equipment according to procedures
  • Verifying lots and batch numbers and dumping materials into blender/hopper
  • Troubleshooting and identifying equipment failures or problems
  • Taking necessary samples for quality control (QC) testing as needed
  • Adhering to all GMP, safety, ISO, and standardized work procedures
Requirements:
  • Ability to work a 2-2-3 work schedule
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to the production process, including weight and volume conversions in the metric system
  • Ability to use basic hand tools (hammer, screwdriver) for assembly/disassembly of equipment
  • Ability to operate a pallet walker and/or forklift (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills; ERP system knowledge (preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED with experience in a production environment (preferred)
