The Packager plays an important role in preparing products for shipment and supporting overall product quality. This is a hands-on, entry-level position responsible for inspecting, testing, labeling, and packaging products according to company standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, following clear processes, and contributing to a team-focused production environment. This is a temporary/seasonal role with the opportunity to be considered for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
What You'll Do
- Inspect parts and assemblies for damage, defects, or missing components
- Perform basic functional testing prior to packaging
- Package products in compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) standards
- Follow work instructions and manufacturing documentation
- Label products accurately using barcodes, serial numbers, and shipping information
- Record quantities and packaging details in production logs
- Operate basic packaging tools and equipment
- Collaborate with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet daily goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Identify and report quality or safety concerns
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior packaging or manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required
- Ability to follow written instructions and work with attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with ESD handling is a plus
