Conducts a variety of distribution, environmental, and material testing for FedEx customer packages.Essential FunctionsConducts distribution testing, environmental testing, and material testing for customer packagesInspects customer packages and product for damage, leaks, and safety issuesPrepares the package test record and provides general recommendations and feedback to the customer on the findings of the testProcesses and ships packages for inbound and outbound shipping for both domestic and international shipmentsRepacks or improves shipments that are damaged that must be returned to a customer safelySupports proper disposal of packages and materials such as corrugated board as assignedConsults with customers to provide feedback on testing results for improvement opportunitiesPerform other duties as assigned.Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED. Minimum Experience: No experience required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good analytical and communications skills. Must learn and adapt to new equipment and technologies being used for testing. Microsoft Office products knowledge a plus. Salesforce knowledge a plus. Prior testing knowledge and use of testing equipment a plus. Job ConditionsAbility to lift 75 pounds and the ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.Valid driver's license is required since operating motorized conveyances is required of this job.Preferred Qualifications: This position is onsite in Collierville; TN.
