The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on, reliable Package Lead Associate to support our co-packing operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who can keep production lines running smoothly and efficiently while proactively identifying and solving problems. This individual will also help guide team members on the lines while serving as a key point of communication with customers and vendors when needed.

  • $28.00 per hour
  • Full-time hourly position, 40 hours a week Monday - Friday

Job Duties:

  • Lead and support daily production lines activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and food safety standards are consistently met
  • Provide on-the-floor leadership, helping guide team members, maintain workflow, and ensure accountability
  • Troubleshoot issues on the lines and take initiative to resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Monitor equipment performance and help prevent downtime
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and product handling
  • Organize and manage inventory within the production and warehouse areas
  • Communicate effectively with customers and vendors regarding production status, issues, and timelines as needed
  • Accurately document processes, issues, and improvements through clear note-taking
  • Follow through on tasks, ensuring completion and continuous improvement
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines


Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a natural problem-solving mindset
  • Demonstrated leadership skills or ability to step into a leadership role on the production floor
  • Ability to identify issues, think critically, and implement solutions
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and note-taking skills
  • Proven ability to follow through on tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with customers and vendors
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn food safety and quality standards
  • Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with clear communication skills
  • Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and a strong work ethic
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Forklift certified
  • Ability to clear a pre-employment background check
