The Position
This position performs a variety of detailed and confidential duties, serving as a trusted resource to the College President. Acts as the main point of contact for the Office of the President. The position is responsible for managing and maintaining the President's schedule and managing relevant technology, including conference room set-up, prioritizing meetings and activities to ensure alignment with institutional goals and executive priorities.

Staff Duration: Part-Time, 12 months
What You Will Do
- Acts as the main point of contact for the Office of the President.
- Maintains the President's calendar; coordinates the President's schedule; handles all travel arrangements; and relieves the President of routine clerical tasks.
- Coordinates scheduling and invitations for all functions hosted by the President and serves as facilities coordinator for the President's suite.
- Collects and archives records for the Senate, President's reports, and Board of Trustee meetings.
- Maintains focus on continuous improvement and innovation through the implementation of streamlined procedures and technology.
- Processes invoices, requisitions, and reimbursements in accordance with College policy.
- Accompanies the President to, or represents the President at, on- and off-campus functions as appropriate.
- Manages routine contact and related needs regarding trustee activities and meetings.
- Assists the Assistant to the President with the development and maintenance of office budgets.
- Maintains close coordination with the OCC Foundation and other College offices on special projects and initiatives.
- Support special projects, initiatives, and events assigned by the President or designee to achieve goals, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Performs related duties, projects, and initiatives as assigned.
The Successful Candidate Must Have
- Associate's degree.
- Three years of prior client service experience, with at least one year in an office or business support role that included the handling of a high volume of questions, the scheduling of events, maintenance of data and records, and the preparation of professional documents and reports.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proven experience in office management, administrative support, or related roles, with demonstrated proficiency in administrative software and technology tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach and proficiency in digital communication technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications, and experience with administrative software systems.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks and responsibilities.
