Owner/Operator - Delivery Driver - Box Truck

Pace is seeking an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractor with a 24-26' box truck (liftgate required) in our Nashville, TN market. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with consistent, dedicated routes!

As a Box Truck Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make deliveries consisting of office supplies on a multi-stop route in and around the Nashville market. Most routes are approximately 150-300 miles round trip and operate Monday through Friday. A typical delivery will include loading/unloading freight, delivery scanning, app usage to update your delivery statuses in real time, and getting your paperwork signed. Having excellent customer service and maintaining a high degree of safety and professionalism is a must as most of the deliveries are taking place with staff present.

Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers:

• Pick up freight and deliver to designated stores.
• Break down palletized freight at point of delivery as needed.
• Operate a pallet jack to load/unload freight.
• Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
• Maintain required insurance.
• Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
• Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
• Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.

What does it take to drive with Pace?

• Have your own working 24' - 26' Box Truck with Lift Gate.
• Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
• Drivers must be 21 or older.
• Must maintain required insurance - $1million CGL, $1million auto, $100k motor cargo
• Must have active operating authority with the FMCSA
