Job Title: Overnight Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician

Pay: $19.00/hour
Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Schedule:

• Regular schedule is Monday–Wednesday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight) (30 hours per week)
• First week Training: Monday to Thursday 4:30p - 12:30a

Job Overview:
We are hiring Overnight Pharmacy Fulfillment Technicians for a fast-paced micro-fulfillment center in Bolingbrook, IL. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are eligible to obtain a pharmacy technician license in the state of Illinois. This role combines data entry, production, and quality control in a highly automated pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter patient and prescription data accurately using established procedures
• Process refill requests and troubleshoot missing or incomplete prescription information
• Interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes) and resolve data entry exceptions
• Operate automated pharmacy machinery and support workflow efficiency
• Count, fill, label, package, and ship prescriptions
• Maintain inventory flow and ensure quality control at each stage
• Assist pharmacists and collaborate with team members across locations
• Resolve third-party insurance rejections by reviewing and correcting claims
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

Basic Qualifications:

• Pharmacy/Healthcare experience preferred
• Previous Fulfillment/Warehouse experience preferred
• Eligible to obtain an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
• Active Pharmacy Technician Licensure is HIGHLY PREFERRED
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills (navigation, data entry, file management, internet use)

• Willingness to work a consistent overnight schedule
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Enter medication orders/prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system
• Reading medication orders and prescriptions

• Reporting any issues with missing pharmacy medications and supplies medications
• Prepare medications under supervision of pharmacist

• Assist the pharmacist in medication compounding
• Perform pharmacy and medication unit inspections
• Receive drugs and stock pharmacy
• Enter critical patient prescription data into pharmacy information system
• Performing basic pharmacy technician duties
• Entering new prescription in pharmacy software system
• Repackag medications for checking by pharmacist
