Picture your morning: you load the truck with panels, springs, cables, and openers, review the day’s schedule of installs and service calls, and head out to help homeowners and businesses keep moving. That’s the rhythm of this experienced role with Express Employment Professionals, hiring on behalf of a steady, reputable client.

This is not an entry-level position. We’re searching for a skilled, dependable pro who knows garage door systems inside and out and can work independently in the field.

Pay: $20 to $28 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, daylight hours

What your day looks like

• Set and align residential and commercial overhead doors to spec
• Replace/repair torsion and extension springs, cables, rollers, and mount/adjust openers
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete scheduled and on-demand service calls
• Deliver safe, code-compliant, quality workmanship on every job
• Communicate professionally with customers, explaining findings and next steps

What you bring

• Proven background installing and repairing garage doors
• Strong mechanical aptitude; confident with hand and power tools
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials and work in varied environments
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
• Reliability and the ability to work independently
