Outside Window Sales- Palm City Millwork

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and professional Outside Sales Representative to develop new customer relationships within the distributor windows business, storefront, glass and glazing, architectural window industry. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills andare proficient in common computer programs to include Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel. This person must demonstrate a proven track record of capitalizing on opportunities within the Distributor window industries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify 15 viable accounts to be developed within Palm Cities core business structure and within the industries mentioned above.
• Develop strong business relationships with individuals from key accounts.
• Identify window projects for the bidding process and secure project awards.
• Work with estimators, detailers, shop foreman as well as operations manager through the proposal process.
• Strong follow up to close on all proposals and estimates.
• Assist with the development of marketing materials.
• Provide the estimating team with all relevant information including sales information, drawings, and finish specifications.
• Participate in sales meetings for review of progress of open jobs and estimates.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in architectural window industry.
• A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Marketing or Business Management or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Ability to work under time sensitive pressure and deadlines.
• Ability to read drawings and understand finish specifications.
• Ability to manage priorities throughout the entire process of large estimating projects.
• Working knowledge of the distributor window business.
• Strong product knowledge in multiple manufactures and install job experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work productively and professionally within a team environment as well as independently.
