NOVA Computer Solutions is an established, vertically focused Managed Service Provider (MSP), trusted to provide technology support and strategic IT services to businesses throughout Northern Virginia, Metro Washington DC, and Maryland. With over 20 years in business, we specialize in supporting professional environments—particularly dental practices—with reliable managed services, security solutions, and IT consulting.

We're continuing to grow and are looking to add a driven Outside Sales Representative to help us expand our client base through net‑new business acquisition.

Job Overview:

The purpose of the Outside Sales Representative is to drive new business growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new partners for NOVA's managed IT services and solutions. This is a hunter-focused role, ideal for a self‑motivated sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building pipelines, and being rewarded directly for results.

This position requires strong time management, persistence, relationship‑building skills, and the ability to manage a full sales cycle from initial outreach through close.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and secure net-new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close
  • Build trusted relationships with business owners and key decision-makers
  • Present NOVA's managed services, security, and IT solutions clearly and confidently
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking
  • Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff and partner success
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies
  • Represent NOVA at networking events, conferences, and trade shows as needed

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven outside B2B sales experience
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable prospecting and generating your own pipeline
  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently within a defined territory
  • Willingness to travel locally within the assigned region

Required Skills:

  • B2B Sales: 2+ years (minimum)
  • Outside / Field Sales: 2+ years (minimum)
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): 2+ years

License / Certification:

  • Valid Driver's License (Required)

Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • 8‑hour shift (8:30am – 5:00pm), Monday through Friday
