QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of hunting and closing new business; experience in pest control, facilities services, or related fields preferred
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively generate new leads through networking, referrals, and field visits, identifying opportunities in target commercial verticals.
  • Sales Process Management: Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to understand client-specific needs and develop comprehensive, customized service proposals.
  • Relationship Building & Closing: Present and sell tailored pest control solutions to decision-makers (e.g., facility managers, operations leaders), negotiate contracts, and effectively close deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaboration & Service Assurance: Work closely with the service and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market & Industry Expertise: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements specific to commercial pest control in the Chicago area.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM (Pipedrive) software.
