The Outside Sales Engineer is responsible for driving revenue growth through the application of engineered HVAC solutions within the commercial built environment. This role operates at the intersection of mechanical system design, applied engineering, and technical sales, supporting contractors, consulting engineers, architects, and end users across all phases of the project lifecycle - from conceptual design and equipment specification through procurement, installation, and commissioning. The position requires a strong understanding of HVAC system design principles, thermodynamics, psychometrics, and equipment performance characteristics, with specialized focus on commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems including air handlers, rooftop units, chillers, boilers, variable air volume (VAV) systems, energy recovery ventilators, and building automation controls.
