What You’ll Do
Walk alongside survivors
Serve as a trusted point of contact, offering consistent, compassionate support
Conduct screenings, assessments, and intakes with a focus on safety and dignity
Partner with clients to build individualized goals and plans for their future
Keep thoughtful, accurate documentation to support continuity of care
Connect people to what they need
Coordinate referrals and services with community partners
Help remove barriers by providing transportation when appropriate
Work closely with internal teams to support housing, emergency needs, mentorship, and recovery
Build strong community connections
Collaborate with shelters, schools, correctional facilities, and rural response teams
Act as a bridge between Call to Freedom and partner organizations
Support coordination of care for newly identified survivors locally and beyond
Be part of a larger movement
Provide education and training to community partners
Participate in collaborative response teams and multidisciplinary meetings
Support prevention efforts that help stop trafficking before it starts
Support coordinated, holistic care
Partner with the Director of Marissa’s House & Outreach Services on referrals
Assist with case navigation across regions
Travel as needed to strengthen partnerships and response efforts
What You Bring
A heart for advocacy and working alongside individuals impacted by trauma
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (preferred)
Experience in case management or working with vulnerable populations
Understanding of—or willingness to learn—trauma-informed care
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Organization, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
Additional Requirements
Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
Willingness to travel occasionally, including possible overnight trips
Flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends based on program needs
Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
