RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center, has an immediate opening for a social work or counseling Outpatient Therapist at our LaFollette, TN, location.  This position is perfect for an early career therapist wanting to gain experience across a broad population range and receive supervision for LCSW or LPC-MHSP licensure.

REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling. 

JOB DUTIES

Responsible for the delivery of outpatient clinical services consisting of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including psychotherapy and consultation with other disciplines.

• Build rapport with the client through empathic listening, caring, and warmth
• Be authentic, genuine, and transparent
• Play a significant role of resolving serious issues and conflicts within the family
• Encourage and motivate individuals to tackle their mental health and behavioral problems effectively
• Provide a safe environment and establish a warm, comfortable therapeutic culture
• Work toward licensure as LCSW, LPC-MHSP, or LMFT if not already licensed
