Mammography Technologist – Eastchester, NY

Join NewYork-Presbyterian at a brand-new outpatient imaging center in Eastchester, NY, focused on providing high-quality breast imaging in a patient-centered, low-volume environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mammography Technologist looking for a consistent weekday schedule while working with one of the nation's leading healthcare systems. Although this position is based in Eastchester, there are opportunities for overtime at other NYP imaging locations if desired.

Position Highlights

• Location: 3 Michael Frey Dr, Eastchester, NY 10709
• Department: Mammography
• Schedule: Days (final schedule discussed during interview)
• No weekends or on-call requirements
• EMR: EPIC
• Pay Range:$90,480 - $118,000 annually ($49.71-$64.70/hour)
• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
• Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis
• Overtime opportunities available at Midtown and other NYP locations

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and exceptional customer service throughout the imaging process.
• Follow all quality assurance, radiation safety, and departmental protocols.
• Accurately document procedures using EPIC.
• Collaborate with radiologists and the multidisciplinary imaging team to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R)(M) certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Mammography experience required.
• Candidates with multi-modality experience are encouraged to apply, provided they have at least 1 year of Mammography experience in addition to 2 years of overall imaging experience.
