About the Role
American Energy Resources is hiring Utility Technicians to support gas meter installation and replacement projects. This role involves hands-on outdoor work as part of a technician team.
What You’ll Do
- Perform gas meter installation and replacement.
- Complete physically active outdoor work throughout the day.
- Follow all safety procedures and job site standards.
- Work as part of a team to complete daily assignments.
- Maintain a professional appearance in the field.
What We’re Looking For
- A valid driver’s license is required for job-related travel.
- Ability to perform the essential job functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation, including physical outdoor work throughout the duration of the shift.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Experience in construction, utilities, or mechanical work is a plus.
Compensation
- $20.00 per hour during training.
- Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours.
- Performance incentives available.
