Position Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referral partners and commercial accounts that can generate recurring cleaning and restoration opportunities.

This role focuses on building relationships with property managers, plumbers, insurance agents, real estate professionals, facility managers, assisted living facilities, contractors, and other strategic referral sources. The successful candidate will proactively generate meetings, conduct presentations, and secure referral partnerships that drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and prospect new referral sources and commercial customers.
  • Develop and manage a structured sales territory and route.
  • Conduct daily in-person sales calls and networking activities.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with decision-makers.
  • Deliver presentations to organizations, property management companies, and industry groups.
  • Generate cleaning and restoration opportunities through referral partnerships.
Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular contact with existing referral partners and customers.
  • Strengthen relationships through phone calls, site visits, and follow-up meetings.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Participate in community events, trade associations, chambers of commerce, and networking groups.
Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records in the company CRM.
  • Track sales activities, meetings, and referral opportunities.
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Assist with local marketing initiatives and promotional events.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of outside sales, relationship selling, or business development experience.
  • Experience selling services to property managers, insurance professionals, contractors, healthcare facilities, or commercial accounts is highly preferred.
Sales Skills

  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven ability to develop long-term business partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and provide value-driven solutions.
Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Additional Requirements

  • Must reside in New Jersey.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
