    POSITION SUMMARY

    Transport product for the Music & Arts department using powered equipment to support efficient warehouse operations. Move materials between departments and storage locations while ensuring product is accurately allocated for storage or shipment. This role supports overall distribution center productivity by maintaining accurate product movement and inventory handling.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Store and retrieve product using appropriate powered equipment. Verify the accuracy of pallets and product moved within the facility. Operate powered lift equipment for the majority of the shift; supporting small goods operations as needed. Receive and execute work orders and material movement instructions through the DAX system. Retrieve product from designated locations to fulfill shipment requirements. Allocate product into the appropriate reserve storage locations. Maintain department safety and housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe work environment. Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other production areas as needed based on workload demands. Perform other duties as assigned by the area Supervisor or Manager.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Must be Guitar Center certified to operate powered equipment or be willing and able to obtain certification if selected. Ability to read and write English, and perform basic arithmetic. Aptitude for working with the DAX system to identify, retrieve, move, and secure product for storage or shipment. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency when processing orders. Demonstrated reliability with the ability to maintain an excellent attendance record. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to support other production areas and adapt to changing priorities. Strong communication skills, with the ability to share detailed information with drivers and processors across departments. Positive attitude and demonstrated support for company goals.

    PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK EFFORT

    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work in varying temperatures, including hot conditions during summer months. Must be comfortable operating powered equipment at heights of up to 50 feet while wearing a safety harness.
