Position Purpose ----------------
The Equipment Operator I is a safety-sensitive position subject to DOT drug & alcohol procedures, must be available to report to work during regular business hours and must be available after hours to respond to emergencies and/or highway conditions. This entry-level CDL required position has a focus primarily on the operation of Outagamie Countys fleet of dump trucks. Also, operates several medium and light pieces of equipment and moves materials from manufacturing and distribution centers to jobsites. Equipment operator Is are responsible for winter plowing activities and maintaining a safe and efficient road system.
