We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Traumatologist to join our dynamic and collegial team at a busy Level I Trauma Center in Delray Beach, Florida . This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with highly skilled colleagues and access to advanced surgical technology and support systems.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care for acute injuries, including complex fractures and polytrauma cases.
Participate in trauma call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Perform both operative and non-operative management of musculoskeletal injuries.
Collaborate with trauma surgeons, intensivists, and other specialists as part of a multidisciplinary trauma team.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives, trauma peer review, and performance improvement processes.
Document and maintain thorough and accurate patient medical records.
Participate in trauma committee meetings and ongoing trauma program development.
Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery (required).
Active or eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license.
ATLS certification preferred or ability to obtain.
