Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawaii. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Rehabilitation Services provides physical and occupational therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients across the full continuum of care. Our trained experts specialize in a variety of innovative programs for people with physical and cognitive disabilities and injuries, including conditions such as brain injury, stroke, spinal cord disorders, orthopedic injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis, amputations, arthritis, Parkinson's disease and chronic pain.
As the Orthopedic Rehab Aide, you will have the opportunity to provide life-changing rehabilitative and therapeutic services by assisting our physician staff with the delivery of orthopedic and physical therapy services for Straub patients in our Rehabilitation Services department. We are looking for someone with strong patient care and communication skills, willingness to work in a team-oriented atmosphere and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.
