Are you an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant that would like to join a Physician owned APP ran practice in SUNNY NO STATE TAXES FLORIDA? Our thriving Orthopedic Surgery practice located in North Florida and South Georgia is hiring a full time Physician Assistant who specializes in Total Joint Reconstruction. The Ortho-surgery PA-C will be assisting the Orthopedic Total Joint Physician in all aspects of patient care.
This is a great area to raise a family or enjoy the surrounding area. All clinics are located near AL, GA and the coast of Florida!
Schedule: Full time Mon-Fri No Weekends
Position Overview: The Orthopedic Surgery PA-C will assist the Orthopedic Physician total joint reconstruction specialist in the patients complete orthopedic medical diagnosis, pre-op, First Assist in Surgery and post-surgical treatment.
- Making rounds and performing patient exams
- Diagnosing illnesses
- Assisting in surgery
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and X-rays
- Prescribing medications
- Developing and managing treatment plans
- Advising patients on preventative care and optimal health practices
