PA- Orthopedic Surgery/Podiatry (Hospital-Based) - Lakeland, FL Full-time PA needed to join our established Orthopedic Surgery and Podiatry practice in a hospital-based setting at the Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital with a work schedule Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00pm. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of physicians in a high-quality, patient-centered environment. * Previous experience in Orthopedic, surgical, or podiatry experience preferred. Important skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as keen attention to detail. Job Duties Include: * Assist physicians in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic and podiatric conditions * Provide inpatient care, including rounding, consults, and post-operative management as well as consulting the ortho and podiatric patient coming through the hospital Emergency Department. * Perform procedures within scope of practice * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care * Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery * Call details are available upon request Benefits Include: Competitive salary with productivity-based incentives * Comprehensive benefits package including malpractice insurance, CME allowance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plan. * Access to EPIC EMR system for seamless patient care coordination. * No state income tax in Florida * Family friendly community with amazing parks (Bonnet Springs Park located in the heart of Lakeland!) Board Certified through NCCPA Credentialing with appropriate facilities must be received prior to performing patient care.
